ASÍ PUES
Se acabó el largo día en el que tanto
y tan poco ha ocurrido.
Grandes expectativas se frustraron
para resucitar sin entusiasmo.
Los espejos cobraron vida y luego se vaciaron,
obedeciendo los caprichos del azar.
Las manecillas del reloj de la iglesia se movieron,
a veces suavemente, otras con brusquedad.
Cayó la noche. El cerebro y sus misterios
se adensaron. Un letrero de neón rojo
venta de fuegos artificiales se encendió en el tejado
de un viejo y tétrico edificio al otro lado de la calle.
Una planta de tiesto ya muy marchita
a la que nadie riega o presta atención
proyectaba su sombra en la pared del cuarto
con lo que a mí me pareció alegría salvaje.
