¿Es una falta de imaginación la que nos lleva, acaso,
a visitar lugares imaginados y no quedarnos en casa?
¿O puede que Pascal no acertara del todo
al permanecer tan sólo sentado en silencio en su cuarto?
Continente, ciudad, país, sociedad:
la elección no es nunca amplia, ni es nunca libre.
Y aquí, o allá... No. ¿Debimos quedarnos en casa,
dondequiera que ésta se encuentre?

  Questions Of Travel

'Is it lack of imagination that makes us come
to imagined places, not just stay at home?
Or could Pascal have been not entirely right
about just sitting quietly in one's room?

the choice is never wide and never free.
